"Serangan ke atas kapal misi kemanusiaan di perairan antarabangsa bukanlah kali pertama tentera pengganas zionis melakukannya. Pada tahun 1967 pesawat tempur Israel telah menyerang kapal perang USS Liberty di perairan antarabangsa mengakibatkan kematian 34 orang tentera laut Amerika Syarikat.
Semasa serangan ke atas kapal Mavi Marmara seorang aktivis kemanusiaan telah dibelasah teruk, muka beliau berlumuran darah , iaitu Ken O’Keefe. Ken O’Keefe adalah merupakan bekas askar marin Amerika Syarikat dan veteran perang teluk yang kini giat dalam aktiviti kemanusiaan.
Walaupun Ken O’Keefe dibelasah teruk oleh pengganas zionis , dia merasa belas kasihan kepada pengganas zionis dan menganggapnya sebagai bersaudara (kerana manusia semua dari bapa yang sama iaitu , Nabi Adam as). Ken O’Keefe menganggap askar zionis pengecut dan kasihan melihatkan mereka yang tiada sifat kemanusiaan, sifat yang paling berharga.
Malulah umat Islam yang tidak membela saudara se agama mereka, sebaliknya mereka terus berpoya-poya. Semoga Allah memberi hidayah kepada mereka yang mencari hidayah Allah.

Women and elderly were physically and mentally assaulted. Access to food and water and toilets was denied. Dogs were used against us, we ourselves were treated like dogs.
We were exposed to direct sun in stress positions while hand cuffed to the point of losing circulation of blood in our hands. We were lied to incessantly, in fact I am awed at the routineness and comfort in their ability to lie, it is remarkable really.
We were abused in just about every way imaginable and I myself was beaten and choked to the point of blacking out… and I was beaten again while in my cell.
In all this what I saw more than anything else were cowards… and yet I also see my brothers.
Because no matter how vile and wrong the Israeli agents and government are, they are still my brothers and sisters and for now I only have pity for them.
Because they are relinquishing the most precious thing a human being has, their humanity.“

DIBALIK TRAGEDI USS LIBERTY, KONSPIRASI AS-ISRAEL
Insiden serangan terhadap kapal pengintai AS USS Liberty yang terjadi tanggal 8 Juni 1967 kembali menjadi buah bibir di AS setelah sejumlah awak kapal yang selamat mengatakan bahwa kapal itu sebenarnya diserang oleh pesawat-pesawat tempur Israel. Pengakuan dari para awak kapal yang selamat membuat peristiwa ini kembali menjadi buah bibir di AS yang selama bertahun-tahun memetieskan kasus ini.
Serangan yang terjadi selama hampir dua jam itu menyebabkan 34 pelaut AS tewas dan 173 orang awak kapal luka-luka. Sementara USS Liberty rusak berat dan hampir tenggelam.
